About the Founder

Hargun Kalsi

Hargun Kalsi is a trailblazer at the intersection of strength, culture, and community. As one of the first Sikh, Punjabi, and South Asian women to visibly compete and place in bodybuilding competitions, she has challenged long-standing stereotypes about what strength is supposed to look like.

She first gained recognition by filming her workouts in a salwaar, a bold and intentional statement that strength and cultural identity can coexist. What began as a personal act of defiance quickly became a movement, inspiring thousands of South Asian women to step into the gym with confidence and redefine their own limits.

Since then, Hargun has coached over 200 clients, built global connections within the fitness industry, secured aligned brand partnerships, and co-hosts a podcast dedicated to real conversations around strength, body image, food, and self-development. Through coaching, content, and community initiatives, she shares practical, uplifting education that makes fitness feel accessible rather than intimidating.

Her commitment to representation extends far beyond social media. Hargun serves on the Young Professionals Board for WomanKind, speaks at Punjabi Chamber of Commerce events focused on empowering younger generations, and has been invited to Sikh Youth Alliance powerlifting meets and Singh & Kaur adult retreats to champion confidence, discipline, and self-respect.

Her mission is simple but powerful: Help the South Asian community feel informed, confident, and proactive about their health, and more importantly, to let that strength ripple into families, homes, and future generations.
